タヒチからソロモン諸島（ガダルカナル）へ航海中。
毎日、空と雲と海とを眺めて暮らしていました。
空も雲も海も、毎日姿を変えるので、飽きがきません。
空からやわらかい光線が降ってきて、雲の一部が赤く染まって。
右の雲がスフィインクスのようです
空にななめに紅いラインがはいりました
広い範囲が暮れていき
紅くなりました。
美しい景色が、美しいままで、いつまでも続きますように。
I voyaged to the Solomon Islands (Guadalcanal) from Tahiti.
Every day, I was living in view the sky and clouds and sea.
Sky and clouds sea changed their appearance every day, I did not get tired.
I hope the beautiful scenery continues forever.
